Back in 2012 Pauline and I formed a friendship brought about by the love and fascination of the impact of food on our mood. Both of us lived at that point in beautiful Zambia with our families and based on our work were invited to give talks in groups for parents and for women. After these sessions, we had a number of people come up and ask us personal questions and often sought simple nutritious recipes without compromising the taste and flavours of the recipes. Before long the idea of the cookbook came alive. You will see the recipes ARE simple, there are suggestions to how you might want to vary them according to your personal preferences, and the ingredients are kept simple so there is no running around town to find exotic spices.
